Don’t miss the opportunity to WATCH EVERY MATCH of this summer’s FIFA CLUB WORLD CUP kicking off on Sunday, June 15, 2025.
This summer’s FIFA Club World Cup showcases 32 teams from various leagues worldwide, competing over a four-week span in the United States and ending with the final on Sunday 13th July.
Unlike past tournaments that included only continental champions and a host representative, this expanded format distributes slots across all six confederations based on performance metrics over a four-year period.
To select the participants, FIFA evaluates results from the 2021–22 to 2023–24 seasons of each confederation’s top club competition. For instance, UEFA qualifies its Champions League winners during this timeframe and fills the remaining slots using a four-year club ranking. Meanwhile, AFC, CAF, and CONCACAF each receive four slots for their champions, OFC is allocated one, and the host association is guaranteed a spot.
Due to these complex and stringent qualification rules, neither Premier League champions Liverpool, nor La Liga champions Barcelona, received an invitation!
